Pixpet Adventure!
The Pixpet Game is getting a big new Extension!
The Pixpet Adventure will be a new integral part of the site! It is not just a minigame or another feature, it is a game within the game. The Adventure will be a Text Based RPG where you take on the role of your own Pixpets.
While the current game plays out entirely in the human world, the Pixpet Adventure will be played in the Pixpet Realm.

I'm proud to finally announce the release date for the game!
The closed beta helped (and is still helping) improving the game massively until now as well es fixing dozens of bugs. Thank you for your help by giving daily feedback, reporting bugs and of course your pledges on Patreon! The game is now stable enough for a release, which will open it up to everyone! The release date is:
Friday 21st December 2018 18:00 (6 PM) GMT
(19:00 CET, 01:00 PM EST, 10:00 AM PST)
This date marks exactly one year after the pixpet pre-registrations opened!
(It is also very close to the 10 years anniversary of the Dragonadopters opening)

I'm very glad to announce that the creation of the 32 initial Pixpets for the BETA is finished! Those include 5 starters, each with one evolution as well as three "Legendary" Pixpets. An opening date for the games beta will be announced within a few days!
I'm also proud to finally reveal a new Pixpet! His name is Xeldron and he is one of the three legendary ones and pretty hard to find.
All information about him (or her?) can be found in the following Pixpet-ID card I have created.

Pixpet Evolutions!
Pixpet will also feature an evolution mechanic. Some pixpets can undergo an evolution by giving them items called Evobars.
Evobars need to be baked by you in game with rare ingredients (or obtained trough the market). Once a pixpet reaches a certain level the option for an evolution is displayed. It is also possible to de-evolutionize pets by giving them a reversed evobar! The pixpet code allows for multiple evolutions as well as branched evolutions for a few selected pets.
An evolution can change a pixpets Color Group and/or Lifting Capacity which leads to different items being found on their hoards.
In the example image, Drax turns into Altudrax via Western Dragon Evobar.
